R407H is a high-performance, low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant suitable for a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration applications. It is a blend of hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) with a GWP of 1394, significantly lower than that of R410A, its primary competitor.
R407H Applications:
R407H is widely used in air conditioning systems, including split-type, multisplit, packaged, and central systems. It is also suitable for certain commercial and industrial refrigeration applications, such as display cases, refrigerators, and chillers.
Gases that R407H can Replace:
R407H is a direct replacement for R410A and R404A, two commonly used refrigerants with significantly higher GWPs. It can also be used as a substitute for R22, an older refrigerant with both high GWP and ozone depletion potential (ODP).
Buy R407h in Europe
R407H is currently permitted for use in new equipment in the European Union (EU) until January 1, 2028. However, the EU is phasing out high-GWP refrigerants, and R407H is expected to be banned by 2036.
